Our school year is coming to an end. Drew had his final choir concert and they sang some fun pop songs like "don't stop believing" and "1,2,3,4" by the plain white tees. I think this pic looks like a boy band...
And dang.....

Two thoughts this morning: First, can you tell me who the four boys are in the first photo? I can tell Drew, Braden and one of the Crist boys but are there 2 Crists in that photo? They've grown up so much!
Second: It's been seven years since Gabi graduated from Gilbert High. Seven! The time has flown by, but I couldn't be more proud of her than I am today. It's hard to give up the control of a mother/daughter, mentor/student, alpha/beta relationship, but it is so great to have a friend, ally, equal that I am so close to. Enjoy watching Sadie grow into the new person that she is becoming. This new phase in her life will be one in which both of you find new roles and grow in ways you haven't even thought of. Congrats to both of you!
Thank you Toni! It was an amazing night and I really am so excited for Sadie to have new experiences and adventures. I know you and your girls are still so close, so that gives me a lot of comfort:)
Yes...Gavin, Drew and Braden...the fourth boy is another friend Mitchell, but he does look kind of like a Crist, huh! I still have this pic that I love of you and the 3 boys from preschool...such happy memories of their time with Ms. Toni. Thank you for being a wonderful influence on my kidos!
