turkey day 2012

I took about a billion pictures during thanksgiving break.  Okay, really, I took closer to four hundred.  But, with the incredible back drop of my in-laws ranch, and all these people I love...I just had to keep shooting!

We had lots of leaves....

And cute bakers....

And the cutest babies....

And a beautiful Grandma....

And some fun farm animals....

And a few domestic ones...

And my favorite cowboy...
and some more leaves.

Now, a little visual to tell you how Gregg feels about family pictures....
but he was still a good sport, along with everyone else...

...except the littlest ones:) Very understandable.

Now on to something a little more fun and relaxing, the Turkey bowl!
Have I mentioned I'm a little competitive?
The winning team took bragging rights, and I'm sure there will be a rematch next year.

As we celebrated thanksgiving together, I felt a tremendous sense of gratitude.  A few years ago, our family experienced two very difficult events in the same year. At the time they seemed overwhelming and almost insurmountable.  I am grateful for the knowledge I have of a loving God that knows each one of us personally, and wants us to be happy.  I am grateful for the power of forgiveness and the healing it can bring.  I am grateful that my family really can be "forever".
